under the patronage of the austrian consulate gernal, the austrian trade commission and club austria international, the opening of the exhibition "sea, art & yacht" of of ferdinand stock took place in the FAD (centr for the promotion of arts and design) in barcelona.

from march until june 2007, prestigious club náutico "ell balis" in the exquisite yacht harbour of sant andreu de llavaneras exhibited a dozen of works of austrian painter and circumnavigator ferdinand stock.
april-may 2006 opening in mattsee castle near salzburg
an art event ot its own class took place in mattsee castle near salzburg in april 2006. the preview of austrian tele vision production "experience austria - open seayachts from a land locked country" that was broadcasted in may on orf2 was the occasion for this special evening.
During his research on the renowned Austrian shipyard Schöchl in Mattsee, Karl Kern, responsible editor of ORF Salzburg, encountered the artist Re Amon. He was the proud owner of a brandnew Schöchl Sunbeam 53, a 16-meter sailing yacht, the "flagship" of the shipyard.
ferdinand stock has been a passionate sailor for years and made his passion his life: He lives and paints on his sailing yacht "Carpe Diem".
